After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will meet you in the lobby to begin your full-day excursion to visit the Giza Plateau, Memphis, and Saqqara.

At the Giza plateau, you will see the Great Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, one of the seven wonders of the world, the middle Pyramid of his son King Chephren, and the Pyramid of his grandchild King Mykerinus.

Your guide will give you interesting information about the history of the pyramids. You will also visit the Great Sphinx and the valley temple of King Kefren. After that, you can have lunch (optional) at a good quality restaurant before proceeding to the Saqqara Necropolis.

At the Saqqara Necropolis, you will see the step pyramid of Djoser, the oldest stone structure in the world built by Imhotep, one of the greatest architectures of ancient Egypt. During your time there, you will have the opportunity to visit both the Pyramid of Teti and the tomb of Kagemni, an influential figure in Saqqara who happened to be the son-in-law of King Teti during the 6th dynasty.

Then, at Memphis, one of the ancient capitals of Egypt, founded by King Menes, you will enjoy some of ancient Egypt treasures at the open-air museum. You can also see the statue of King Ramses II.

At the end of the day, we will transfer you back to your hotel to stay overnight.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Then our team will pick you up, in an air-conditioned vehicle, to start your tours.

You will visit the Egyptian Museum, which is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Your expert guide will lead you through the museum, highlighting the important exhibits such as the treasures of Tutankhamun, and countless statues and relics.

After the museum, you will have lunch (optional) at a good quality restaurant before proceeding to the Mohamed Ali Mosque, known as the Alabaster Mosque located at a very high point at the centre of old Cairo, inside the ruins of Citadel of Saladin, a historic fortress that offers stunning panoramic views of Cairo.

You will also have the chance to visit Old Cairo, where you'll discover its historic churches and Bani Ezra synagogue.

Then, you will head to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous open markets in Cairo which became known as the golden brick road of the Middle East.

Finally, we will transfer you back to the hotel overnight.

breakfast

Get ready for an exciting adventure after breakfast. Our team will pick you up. Have a nice drive (about 3 hours) to the Mediterranean coast to Alexandria city, the second Egyptian capital.

You will visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, a defensive fortress built in the 15th century on the Mediterranean coast. It stands where the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria once existed. The citadel is imposing and has significant historical importance.

You will also visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Shuqqafa. A fascinating place that shows the diverse heritage of the region, combining Egyptian, Greek, and Roman styles.

Next, we'll visit Pompey's Pillar, a huge structure dedicated to the Greco-Egyptian god Serapis. This pillar is a reminder of the grandeur of ancient times.

Finally, you will visit the Alexandria Library, one of the biggest in the world (visit the open court + free museum). The library is famous for having been burned and was very famous all over the ancient world for its huge book capacity of different sciences and literature.

We can stop for lunch at a local sea view restaurant and enjoy fresh seafood whenever you want throughout the day.

At the end, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo to stay overnight.
